When we’re busy at work, a fast-food lunch or reaching for the biscuits is often the easy choice and too often unhealthy food is the quickest to grab on the go.

As employers, we have the opportunity to positively influence the eating habits of our staff and the role it has in overall health and wellbeing. 

This standard focuses on areas of healthy eating such as:-
  • Healthy eating information is provided and accessible
  • Any facilities for food and drink storage, preparation and consumption comply with regulations and enable healthy eating
  • Onsite catering or vending includes healthy options and choices
  • Information and events are planned to promote healthy eating.

HEALTHY EATING

Level 1 – has two criteria sections
Level 2 – has one criteria sections
Level 3 – has three criteria sections


There is a natural progression and so you’ll start at Level 1, and once completed you can move on to Level 2, and then Level 3 on each of the eight standards.
